Well talk about an NBC lump of artistic coal!!! Don't they realize how important those extra bits are to the ratings. I'm pretty sure Tektronix has done a study equating Nielson Rating points to file size. I'd say our show will lose a good 20 ratings points because of this compression. There goes NBC's holiday gift, and it was going to be something really nice. I will no longer consider NBC the Peacock Network. To me they are the Bah Humbug of Bytes. ;-(

I guess it bears mentioning for those that don't know that your System ID is like the social security number of your Avid. If someone has that number, they can steal your upgrades, downloads, etc. NEVER allow the System ID to be made public.
