4. PLEASE it's Da Vinci, not Da Vinchi. You know, like the famous artist? Yes. Relink back to the AMA originals then export an AAF for import into Resolve (Da Vinci). Color correct the camera original files there, render them. The big unanswered question is how will you be finishing? If you're doing a 2K or 4K master, then you can't go back to Avid after Resolve. You need to either finish the editing in the latest version of Resolve, which has "on-line" capabilities now, or go to some other editor - like Smoke or Quantel to finish. Otherwise, render back to DNxHD at the highest colorspace and resolution from Resolve and then send the AAF from the Resolve to the Avid to relink to the newly rendered high-res files. Depending on other factors, go to DNxHD 220x or something.

I'm writing the process from what i understand (still dont know the Alexa info etc...)

1- Link to AMA (better upgrade to avid 7 from 5.5 as the AMA is much better right?)
2- Transcode (what is better? ProRes or DNxHD 36 for example or other... for the workflow?)
3- edit offline
4- when finish relink to original and export for Da-Vinchi for grading
or if not moving to DA-Vinch than transcode to DNxHD 145 right?
