Does anyone know if the latest version of Resolve, with its new
"on-line" capabilities allow you to view a multi-layer composite in
Resolve while correcting the individual elements?
But it's non-obvious to get it happening correctly and while you may get the assets to all line up properly in the timeline... you won't see contextual compositing until you manually go through and enable things, make sure Resolve is seeing embedded alphas... or manually assigning the matte channels. And then any layers above the background layer need to be set up with Alpha channel outputs.
It's not hard - but it can be time consuming. And nearly tough to stumble into the correct workflow.
