Has anybody ever had a G Raid drive randomly unmount? I'm on a MAC 10.8 Symphony 6.0.4.x.. All of a sudden a drive I have been using for about six months staring unmounting randomly. Some times when I am editing with the Symphony and sometimes not. Fearing the worst, I bought another G Raid 4Tb drive, copied all the media to it and went back to work. The same thing happened. I have two other G Raid 4 TB with media from the same project. I tried switching them around so that they were using the same esata cable and power supply as the errant drive but the same drive is still unmounting on the different esata cables and power supplies. So far I haven't lost any data, and if I reboot all the media comes right back up in the project.
I did do one thing that might have been a mistake: I reformatted the new drives (problematic drives) as MAC OS Extended (Journaled) instead of leaving them whatever way the factory formatted them which is not journaled.
Any advice?
