One of the docs I am currently working on has scenes shot entry on the Alexa. (They also used every other format known to man but that's another horror story).
I used AMA to get the footage into the Symphony (6.0.4.x MAC OS 10.8) and then transcoded it to DNxHD 115. Works like a charm. I recommend it.
