Not quite clear what the problem is. If the footage is in the form of Avid media files, then no codec package is needed, surely? Even if the files are QuickTimes encoded with a Meridien codec, the codec package is installed with MC and will read the QTs. If Avid Media Files, are they in the correct folder and location? Even with MC 6.5 and 7, the Meridien codecs show up in QT-savvy applications.
