This IS the Avid L2: [Avid-L2] Re: AMAProducerTask Error?

Hardware is Nitris DX. I too found as long as I didn't view the sequence by turning off the monitor track I could start the transcode but eventually I would get the Producer Task error. I then tried one camera at a time and that worked but there were some clips that just wouldn't transcode. At that point I linked up the sequence and made an aaf and sent that to resolve and did the transcodes there. I am still sorting through the Reel Name/Tape Name issue with the AAF.

Interestingly if I turn off assist with reel numbers the sequence comes in fine but of course no reel numbers. The other thing that is interesting is when I do use assist with reel numbers the master sequence in resolve is linked but not the sequence timeline. In the EDL window I do see the Reel numbers from the Avid Tape name but in the media pool I see the reel names that are like the source names you mention. I have to play more to wrap my head around this but I think I'm zeroing in on it. I tried moving the source names to the reel names but I think I missed the .001 etc... suffixes you mentioned. This really shouldn't be so hard.
