[Avid-L2] Re: Installing QT7 Pro on new iMac?

Well after finding this page on an apple support community:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL923?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US

I was able to download QT 7.6.6 and when I launched it the export functions are not greyed out so I guess the FCP install did enable QT Pro but because it hadn't been installed it must have put the "Pro" registration in the appropriate place for a subsequent install of QT 7.6.6 to recognize the activation. Interesting?
