It's OK Shirley, I don't value his opinion much. He's looking at the
software through rose colored glasses. I am in no way stupid... I just
shouldn't have used the word "sucks". It's not a very efficient piece
of software for my needs or my clients needs at this point in time. In
fact, here in the NYC area, FCP is considered "dead". Were all still
either driving FCP 7, Avid, or as a lot of colleagues have pointed out,
PP is the new "FCP-8".

I just chimed in too quickly. I wish everyone who is jerry-rigging
their systems to make it work for them the best.

Neither are worth wasting good communication with as neither has a logical
position they can sustain. So, you're just backing down without providing any
evidence that FCP X "sucks" for broadcast. Not a single thing you're
prepared to
put from your own position?
