Turning on downconvert in the Video Output tool gives an SD downconvert out
the SDI of the iOExpress. It is not recommended for Digital Cuts, but it
works fine for cutting.
About LTC driving the Tek - my Tek 7000 here can read embedded ANC
LTC/VITC, but I'm always monitoring post-tape (confidence head) for error
logging while I'm laying off. I haven't tried to see if there's any
embedded TC just via playout from MC. Might be worth a look if you haven't
already.
