This has probably been around since they added 24 audio and video tracks to the command console and it is probably in later versions as well.
I just noticed that, while all of the video buttons go up to 24, the audio buttons go up to 9, then - I'm assuming - that because the button doesn't have enough room to display the second digit - the audio buttons then have 10 more buttons named A1 and five more named A2. These buttons actually DO toggle enabling on tracks 11-24, but the buttons themselves are labeled just A1 and A2.
The video buttons are all fine, but on close inspection, they are also slightly wider than the audio buttons, allowing for the full numbers to be used.
