[Avid-L2] Error saving project to network

 

Where I teach, we plan to have students save their Avid projects (not media) to their home directory across the university network. Media for time being will be on removable or local drives (a Unity is on order). While testing, I get an error when saving the project across the network: "Project setting is not saved due to an error. Exception: Resource temporarily unavailable, filename: BB 002.avp". BB 002 is the project name. Anyone seen this?

In fact, the project and all the bins are saved correctly but I get this error every time a project is saved - very irritating! Tried with several projects and user accounts. These are Mac workstations, OS 10.7.4, Media Composer 6.0.3.
