I've pulled many clients asses out of the fire, but especially when we're talking about documentary filmmaking, I think the results of editor heroics are often products that are just okay. For great filmmaking, you need great directors. I think those rare people make ME look good.

Big deal, editors have built many thousands of careers.
Ever since mankind first started putting moving pictures together.
