This IS the Avid L2: [Avid-L2] Re: BCC price change

Boris gave a webinar
<http://www.borisfx.com/webinar/Avid-Media-Composer6.php> several weeks
ago demoing some of the new features of BCC 8. In the Q&A, one of their
folks said they hoped to release a version of 8 that would be certified
for OS 10.6.8 and MC 5.5 and that the goal was to get that out while the
price was still at this reduced rate.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Last time I checked there was no
such version.
