Ok, so now that I've got this sequence cut together using clips that are in MCv6 using AMA I need to get it out to a QT. Preferably PhotoJPEG high quality. But when I try to export it fails. Some of the AMA source is Apple Intermediate. Some h.264. Some HDV. Some PhotoJPEG. Some is SD, some is HD, etc etc. The audio is a mix of audio from the AMA clips and some imported MXF audio.
So I thought it may be one of the codecs of the source clips. So I start dumping various sources from the sequence and it almost always ends up failing. The only thing that seems to help is breaking it down in to 1 min pieces. And then it sometimes will export.
Now if I do a video/audio mixdown then it's all ok. Is there a know bug with exporting from sequences with AMA sources in them that I missed? Or am I just doing something wrong?
So far I'm very underwhelmed with AMA. Extremely underwhelmed.
