Right and if you upgrade FAST, like before midnight maybe, you can upgrade to 5.5 which will be cheaper THEN, because you upgraded to 5.5 so shortly before 6.0, you will get 6.0 for free. Granted this doesn't really seem fair to those who've been upgrading all along, but that's the way it works.

Once 6.0 is available for sale, I think you'll have to upgrade directly all the way up, which will be more expensive.

Check on some old posts (within the last two weeks) from Marianna on this.

I have two MC software licenses. One was at 5.5 and one was at 5.0. The 5.0 one will be cheaper to upgrade to 6.0 than the 5.5 one because I upgraded to 5.5 for $149 two days ago, so when 6.0 comes out, I will get that one for free. With my 5.5 system, I'll have to pay the full price to upgrade to 6.0, which is ... $249? $299? It's on the website. I don't remember.
