[Avid-L2] Kind of [OT] USB 3 and WinXP

 

I've seen conflicting information on this, and I wanted to find out before laying out any cash....
My Dell Laptop is still running WinXP 32 bit. If I buy an express card with USB 3 for the PCIe slot, will it work with XP?
Also, same question regarding Firewire 800. Will it work?
