Rupert, can you explain this a bit for the uninitiated. Are you saying we could capture in Avids and use the MXF media to work in Final cut pro without having to convert anything. Do you just point the capture scratch at the ISIS workspace or something? That would be good for media management.

If you get Calibrated or MXF4Mac you can treat MXF files like QuickTime

movies. Put your FCP on you shared storage and happy days...

I'd agree with phillip, as a consumer delivery spec, sure, it may be

around for quite a while. As a professional methodology, not so much.
