Gotta agree with you Oliver; and if they had cut on Avid I think the response on the list would be different.
On the bright side: with FCP as the tool of choice for this year's oscar winning editors, and with apple soon to release some new fangled "jaw dropping" update to FCP, it means Avid will have to continue to innovate, improve and "compete tough" (if that's even a phrase - if not I hereby make it one!). Hopefully all that innovation and improvement will come sooner than later . . . along with the return of the interface customizations we'd grown to enjoy ;)
