You now have to shoot the 25mb/sec TR version of EX if you want to write
back to XDcam Disk. A new 35mb/s TR (1440) version is coming via firmware.

BTW, anybody had any luck writing back to EX Cards?

I'm not sure about it, if you use it in the XDCAM/FAM mode, but the same
discs permit general use as a data disc. In that case no. So if you use the
discs mainly at a data archive, then you are fine. As far as in an XDCAM
mode, it might have to be a drive that supports dual-layer XDCAM-HD422, but
I'm just guessing.
