[Avid-L2] AAF editor / cutting two identical sequences

Hello,

Does anyone know of an application that would me to view/edit an AAF
file's data? We're trying to automate some conforming and it would be
great to be able to modify reel names within an AAF. We're trying to
mimic work done on one timeline in another timeline that has different
source material (the file names and resolution are different, but
otherwise the same).

Or am I completely over-thinking this one?
