[Avid-L2] 720 to 1080

We want to mix acquisition formats on a quick turn-around show. The
'studio' portion will be 720 straight to mxf on a hard drive; quick-
imports into avid as xdcam50. Pre-edited segments are 1080/23.98
avid, delivery is 1080i/5994.

I'm really leveraging the frame-size-and-rate mixing... But I'm
concerned about how the 720 will look scaled 'on the fly' and intercut
with the 1080. Anyone doing this specific workflow? Any caveattes?
Also, if I'm working in a 1080i/5994 project, will I be able to color-
correct the 720 material in symphony dx (4.05) without rendering? My
testing and experience says this will all work great- bit I have no
margin for error.. Or long renders... So thought I'd quiz the group.
