unavoidable and no tricks that i know of, other than slipping the clip
around. in actual practice it hasn't been an issue, but i don't really
use the fs1 that much - my assistant uses it a lot in doing dubs and
conversions and it's a godsend, really the swiss army knife of video
tools. if it just did standards conversions it would be perfect.
