[Avid-L2] help: playback problem on AMA volume

hi all,
i have footages using sony ex1 on 720p50.
when i load into my bin i by linking to AMA volume can see the the shot, but when i play the clip i only hearing the audio. no picture.
running on avid media composer software only 4.0.2.
i'm using a macbook pro laptop 2.5ghz intel, 4gb ram, leopard 10.5.8.

don't know what i'm missing here, this is the first time i'm using the AMA method.
usually i import those clip by rewraping them into avid aaf or by transcoding it into mxf for nle from the sony ex clipbrowser.
did a search on the forum, but can't find much.

do i need a mojo, or a grapich card issue.. any advice?
