fault. I¹d be looking at the fiber cards. Is the Connection Mode set to
SanMP¹s specs? On TerraBlock, we usually set the speed to 4GB, not Auto.
If Auto, it can fall back to 2GB,and may not return to 4GB unless power
cycled.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Q logic SanBox 5600 16 port fibre switch?
Just curious about the Q logic sanbox 5600 16 port fibre switch as video
performance goes. The specs and lit say it's good for video. Having
problems on a SanMP setup when I digital cut and someone else is capturing
to a different drive in the array I get stalls on ouput about every 6
minutes. I don't know much about san components but the specs say it auto
sensing up to 4.2Gb/sec. Sure seems like 2 SD 1:1 streams shouldn't choke
the system but the Avid seems to get finicky when doing a digital cut while
someone captures on another system on the SanMP. Just trying to learn a
little more about what could be going on. I know SanMP is not ideal but it
seems to have been configured properly so I don't have a clue what if
anything has changed to cause this problem. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
