[Avid-L2] Re: OT; Need Encore help

Have you tried Adobe Media Encoder, which ships with CS3 and CS4? It makes nice looking MPEG2 files. Even if you don't use it, it would be worth a test to see if this is a Squeeze issue.

Also make sure you've trashed all the Encore metadata and scripting files. Adobe is very bad about creating a ton of this stuff and then when you swap out assets, these scripting files no longer jive with the assets and Encore does all sorts of stupid things.
