I think that apps like Silverstack and Yoyotta will do drive to drive file transfers with MD5.

Our delivery of DPX masters requires an MD-5 Checksum.  Given we export directly to Avid to the delivery drive to avoid additional time consuming copying is it possible to take our resulting file and do an MD-5 checksum on the DPX folder?  I found that there is a terminal command to get the MD-5 hash code for a file but DPX is a folder of files.  Would we run the terminal command listed in the link below on the folder containing the DPX files?
