Scott, maybe he thought your ideas were so good, that he wanted to hire you. But then, he'd lay you off 6 months later because you were actually helping the company and lived in the US. :)

Careful!  Last time I was critical of Louie online, I found that he went and checked out  my LinkedIn profile!  He might put your license on "mandatory furlough"....
