Frustrating. Like I said, I use the "Clear Renders" command liberally; pretty much whenever I'm partially invalidating a precompute.

It's not just Safe Color that this bug effects. Sometimes it's nested effects. Step in and change the color on a clip and step out and the top effect may not be unrendered. This has been going on for several versions and while it is a reported bug, it hasn't ben fixed.
