I have no specific details regarding 8.6 but I do recall some recent versions that had issue, at least initially, with Magic Bullet. I do not recall those issues being tied to the graphics card. I have Magic Bullet on my home system which I had kept at 6.5.4.7 until recently when I bounced to 8.5.2 and now 8.5.3. If I get a chance I will see how MB works now that I've upgraded to 8.5.x. I have a different GPU. I'm running a GTX-680 for the GUI so that might make a difference. Keep us posted on your findings.

I am trying to run MC 8.6 and just installed MB Suite. Whenever I try to run MC, it crashes. I take the Looks plugin out of my AVS folder and all is well.
I have been speaking with Red Giant, and they don't have the Radeon 5870 card to try this out on, and are telling me that the 5870 is NOT listed on the avid compatible gfx cards (which it's not) I have no problems when I run avid without the looks plugin, and have had the 5870 since I got this mac back in 2010. and have always run MC with no problems whatsoever.
Anyone else running this combo? I am also on 10.10.5
