But, when I save a Jpeg into a long (1 frame stretched to 30 seconds) QT, it still happens...

Building on Crispin Holland's query on manipulating graphics, I can reproduce what I think is a bug in Frameflex (MC 8.5.2, Mac OS 10.10.5). Link to a large graphic file and use the Fraemflex controls in the Effect Editor to create a move or zoom. In an interlaced project, if unrendered, the fields display correctly when stepping through. After rendering, the fields vanish, leaving (effectively) progressive output (updates only per frame, not per field).
