Thanks ... I was not aware of the Freelance Option. I suppose it does represent a solution -- of sorts.
However, for a small shop, it does not seem to allow a paid license to be moved dynamically across multiple platforms on an as-needed basis (like during the course of a day). At best, I'm assuming you'd have to repeatedly activate the license with a 1-Day duration in order to achieve any meaningful flexibility -- like moving to a different edit bay, going on-set with a laptop, or moving the project to a home system to work at night or weekend.
And the same would seem to hold true with freelance or remote jobs, as their start dates and durations are frequently impossible to predict. Too bad you can't just activate and deactivate the paid plugin on-demand.
