I get both and don't have a preference. What I do care about is that
the clip name is the same as the file name for the highest resolution
version of the still image. Then I just visually recreate the animation
in AfterEffects. I've given up on worrying about the sadness of having
to go outside of Avid to have a good tool for this. After Effects is a
quick, easy and pretty painless solution. The move in the offline
version just has to be good enough to communicate what is wanted.
Resize and P&Z are both fine. --J.B.
