Weird how the Avid gods work. Today, just another day, make a sequence, export QT ref. But today, QT ref won't play. QT just sees black. never happened before. Nothing new installed. Today is just the day. Try to do a video mix down (1 hr seq with tc burn) and try again. Same thing. Just black. So I export same as source. But it crashed stream clip (never crashes) and Encoder wont recognize it. (I use Encoder everyday with my same as source exports.)
What has happened over the weekend to completely turn the export process into a nightmare? Now having to make a export from Avid to small viewing movie so that should take about 10 hours.
go figure.
