Well that looks like a pretty deep piece of software. EVS has always carried a high price. I'm assuming this is the same EVS from remote trucks that had the Xfile proprietary format that took some big iron to transcode to .movs back in the day. Oh well I guess Grey Labs timecode boxes were pricey way back when too.

MXFTk FrontEnd from EVS/OpenCube can do this, but it will set you back 1,000 euros

Subject: [Avid-L2] Is there something like QT Change for MXF files?
I've emailed Bouke to see if VideoToolShed makes a product like QT Change that works with MXF files. In particular XDCAM 50 OP1A files. I'd like to be able to alter time code on these files to change non drop code to drop frame. I can't seem to find a way to do that in Adobe Media Encoder but I'm still hunting. Calibrated Software's MXF import doesn't seem to address changing time code from what I read in it's overview on their site. I googled some people that are trying to access time code in mxf using command line stuff that I assume is ffmpeg, but I'm not sure.
Anybody know of a utility that would let me change the timecode in mxf XDCAM50 and perhaps other types of mxf media?
