Several months ago I was able to check out the Black Magic film scanner at their Burbank offices. (I have a feature film I directed and produced... the original film negative is stored at Protek in Burbank). I brought some of my 35mm film and did a test scan... it was pretty impressive! I'm thinking about scanning my feature film sometime next year. Has anyone used the unit for their film project? Any insight into the pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.
