There is a separate HBA for PCI E if you aren't going Thunderbolt. Dom says the NitrisDX HBA will work. On the phone with VideoGuys I was told that he had seen on forums that some people were using the NitrisDX HBA and some had problems so I ordered the Black Magic part but now I'm wondering if I really need it. I'll recheck with VideoGuys later to see what the facts are. I suppose I could return it along with my hardware trade in if it's unnecessary
Can anyone confirm that I can use the NitrisDX HBA on the BM DNxIO? I suppose it's not a bad idea to have HBAs for both units so I can repurpose the NitisDX..
