I have something similar from OWC. Only issue I've had is the license for Microsoft Office didn't work after Carbon Copy Cloning to the SSD which I partitioned into 2 480GB startup drives. I never followed up with Microsoft as I guess I had one more seat available on my activation code. When I entered it the office suite activated without issue. When I did the same Carbon Copy Clone to a spinning HDD no reactivation was necessary. I assume it is related to the SSDs being on the PCIE buss instead of the internal SATA buss. They show up with icons for an External Sata drive. This is just a guess on my part.
Here's the product link:

Why would you pay that kind of money, not to mention using a PCIe slot? You can just stick in any reputable SSD for a fraction of that cost, e.g.:I've been running these as boot drives in 3 refurb'ed Z400 Avids since last fall and they are fine.On Tue, Sep 15, 2015 at 2:12 PM, McDade mm.tv@... Think the G2 PCIe SSD (256GB) should do fine. Or is there a specific part number Avid has blessed that I did not see on the Avid Configuration Guidelines for the Z440.Thanks in Advance.
