Why would you pay that kind of money, not to mention using a PCIe slot? You can just stick in any reputable SSD for a fraction of that cost, e.g.:I've been running these as boot drives in 3 refurb'ed Z400 Avids since last fall and they are fine.On Tue, Sep 15, 2015 at 2:12 PM, McDade mm.tv@mac.com [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:Can I use any of the HP Z Turbo Drives for my boot drive in a refurbished Z440 system I am looking to purchase?
B&H has a large price range on several models. Think the G2 PCIe SSD (256GB) should do fine. Or is there a specific part number Avid has blessed that I did not see on the Avid Configuration Guidelines for the Z440.Thanks in Advance.
