thanks again for responding, I appreciate your time so much!!!

Where I work which is for Reality TV shows,

We specifically use the Tapeless Avid specific Relinks from this workflow. I am concerned and would love to clear up any steps or problems you cannot get past. I am under the impression this works like a champ for reality TV with the exact concerns that you presented!!!

Once the Avid MXF media files are made, because of the Consolidate/Transcode command the Avid did the media management by default for Resolve. So sending them to Resolve is done by default. And then to go back to Avid just takes a metadata match for the relink.
