Have done this a few times now.
MC has some new resolutions for remote editing. 2 H264 resolutions that are very small.
Workflow is.
AMA link sources. Transcode to DNX36. (Background) transcode to H264 proxy (Background)
Send h264 media and bins by ftp or whatever. (Post house then has low res of rushes)
Client does on location selects or rough cut using DNX36. Consilidates that and sends that media.
Hires sources on backup drive get posted every few days.
Post house links to that hires media for finishing.
Works really well.
