[Avid-L2] MC & Symphony 6.5.4.7 released

 

 v6.5.4.7/v10.5.4.7 Launched

We have released the following maintenance updates to the Download Center ( login and password required).


Media Composer v6.5.4.7  (Mac and PC)

Symphony v6.5.4.7 (Mac and PC)

NewsCutter v10.5.4.7 (PC)


Who is Eligible:  Customers currently running Media Composer v6.5.x, Symphony v6.5.x or NewsCutter v10.5.x are eligible to download and install the update.


ReadMe:  Located on the Knowledge Base at:  


Location: The updates can be found on the avid.com Download Center and are located in the Avid Editor Patches folder within the product list


Important: Regarding installers.


-  Mac installers: Mac installers are full installers that include the editing application and the helper applications. You must uninstall your previous version of editing application using the Avid Uninstallers located in your Applications folder before installing the new version.

 

-  Windows installers: Windows installers are patch installers and can be installed on top of an existing v6.5.4/10.5.4 installation.
