Just this summer I was approached to direct a loa-budget RomCom here in LA. The script was embarrassing, and then I go to the last page where the writer/producer had written out a list of 20 "outtakes" he wanted to do. Let me be clear. This guy wanted to stage the blooper reel. He wanted to to shoot fake outtakes.
I suggest a script re-write making the staged bloopers of a RomCom into the actual main material of the movie (and then consider including the "real" production bloopers from that at the end - and you might have a winner ! PostModRomCom
