I've used Allen and Heath for FOH live mixing and they are very straight forward to operate, at least the boards I used that were analogue. Of course the company we rent our annual PA from now sends a much smaller digital board what has 32 input but only 16 faders active at a time. Someone a little younger jumped on that board and I moved to a TD/Director roll so I didn't have to contend with the lack of tactile controls the new digital boards present.
