Internal patterns in MC have been suspect for quite a long time, so I never use them. Check your scopes. I find it's best to use patterns generated from the Sony SR or Panasonic D5 - these are solid. I've captured the ones I need from there instead of the MC ones.

Of course my new deliver requires Bars other than SMPTE. They seem to want 100% Bars. From the delivery spec:All HD files should deliver with 100/0 bars. 100/0 bars contain 100% white, 0% black and 100% chroma. So they seem okay with Avid's 100% bars. I have never used these for delivery before. I notice black strip on the far left of picture, left of white. Is that part of a 100% bar spec? It would make me think my 1 inch machine was off in picture centering but there's no clicker on the avid to bump it over. I imported with sized for raster top choice like I always do with test patterns. Levels are fine but why is there black to the left of white? Just curious.
