I've literally been struggling to give avid money for two months . Their perpetual autopay failed and then it won't let me pay. I've wasted hours and hours on trying and I'm done.
I don't care that ownership / rental is cheap and includes options I paid $$ for ... But it's clear we aren't really wanted as owners - I can't even find what price standard support is the web store is a total joke.
I love editing in avid and I think I'll just stop at 8.3 now I really can't be bothered messing anymore - it's 40% off for new users is nice but that means it's more expensive to stay loyal than walk away and rent anew. They might want to rethink that strategy.
Rant over - nothing to see here just another grumpy old editor glad he's at the end of his career as every 'partner' now tries every trick in the book to make us conform to their whims.
