Found it I didn't really understand the "apply" menu . That seems to do it. The apply menu is Tracker Center KF section not in the Motion Tracker section where track on the fly is. This was mentioned in the help menu but only in how it would show the choice of light source in a len flare effect. In my case the PixelChooser was a choice in the apply pull down menu.
