Undeniable means someone considering the issue from all of the other angles couldn't deny the practical benefits.

4K in the pipeline is happening. 8K isn't yet, but when it does, we'll go there. How much gear you think you'll have to replace by then? Computers and software have to be replaced every few years anyway - what else? I/O and monitoring - if you aren't tooled up to move up, you can generally get by until it's necessary (edit in 4K, monitor in HD, lock cut and move to color/finishing at 4K - this happens all the time). I don't understand being in this business and being stubborn about things getting better.

If this is true you are wasting time stopping at 4K when 8K is becoming available. Oh wait, we need to replace all of our gear first for 4K then again in a few years for 8K. Now I get it... :-/
