MC can capture the same way without an in or out time. That doesn't solve the problem of the timecodes.

FCP 7 has a CAPTURE NOW button in the Log and Capture window that captures the current video and audio input to a media file on disk until you press the Escape key. No In or Out point is necessary. I have never used it and I don't know what it does with TC. It might do the trick for you.

I want one file only that is a match of the tape in its entirety including the source timecode. I can't have multiple files and I can't have one file with the wrong timecode.
