I'd SLIGHTLY agree with you, Scott (though I didn't even have to look at the signature to figure out who wrote this post). But I'm doing a LOT of training right now for places switching to Avid… Lots of FCP folks needing to figure out Avid, and NONE of it is in LA. Also, helping more people out on line who are crying out for help in switching. But things like Richard Harrington's Facebook page for "Switching to Premiere" have a LOT of traction.

Really? I see X and Premiere getting whatever is left, with Premiere getting a larger proportion of FCP-Legacy folks and new editors going to X. Avid, in my region, is not even in the conversation. Must be an LA thing....
And before I get torched, I want Avid to do well. Still own some stock....but that is what I see from where I sit.
